My favourite new app!

Everyday I come across images on Instagram, Tumblr and other blogs and always find really cool outfit inspiration. I found it really frustrating when I came across something that I really liked and couldn't ascertain where the particular bag, belt dress etc came from. A few days ago I came across this life changing app: "WhereToGet"! It is amazing!

You can follow tonnes of different categories be they based on an item of clothing eg; dress, swimsuit, shorts or a celebrity (I follow celebs including Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner). You can even follow a particular trend. Your newsfeed will fill up with different images from these categories which you can "like" or "want".

 If you click "want" you will receive a notification when another user adds a tip to the post telling you where it's from or where you can buy something similar, brilliant! You can also post your own images. I am glued to this app and find it is really filling the void left behind from the unfortunate closure of asos! The best news is that this piece of genius is free to download! 

Space NK opens in Dublin!

Beauty lovers today is a very big day! Yes, today is the day that Space NK opens its first stand alone Irish store on Dublin's Grafton Street. The brand has a small concession in Harvey Nichol's at the Dundrum centre but beauty junkies across Ireland are rejoicing at the new opening! Space NK originated in London and now has branches across the globe stocking only the best beauty brands. Cannot wait to pay a visit when we're visiting Dublin in a couple weeks!

Countdown to kick off! Brazil's best exports: Gisele Bundchen

The day has finally arrived! The 2014 World Cup will finally kick off in Brazil this evening. It's time for us to top off our countdown and of course we've saved the best til last! 

Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer have both described this lady as the last remaining true supermodel. This woman has been Forbes highest earning supermodel since 2004! According to the Guinness book of world records she has worn the most expensive item of lingerie ever, a bra worth $15 million. If you have been reading our blog recently you'll know that this beauty was recently announced as the new face of Chanel no 5! Yes, it is the stunning Gisele Bundchen!

Gisele is something of a phenomenon. She has graced the cover of over 600 magazines to date coming second to none other than Princeas Diana. She has also appeared on 200 Vogue covers and is the only model to ever appear on the British and American covers simultaneously. Having modelled for just about every designer out there she really has become a household name. 

As you can tell we have a thing for Victoria's Secret models and this is where Gisele really hit the big time! Her talents don't just extend to the catwalk, those of you who have seen The Devil Wears Prada will remember her cameo! Gisele also produces and is involved with several charities. Her love life has been just as interesting as her career. She famously dated Leonardo Di Caprio for several years but later married her hubby Tom Brady in 2009 with whom she has 2 little ones. 

Bundchen's star continues to ascend as last year she was personally chosen by Karl Lagerfeld himself as the face of Chanel's Les Beiges range beating Rihanna to the job. She will appear in the Chanel no 5 adverts this Autumn and continues to walk the runway for various designers.

Countdown to Kickoff! Brazil's Best Exports: Adriana Lima

Today, we continue our celebration of

all things Brazilian with another Victoria's Secret model. The genetically gifted, Adriana Lima. This lady has been in the news a bit recently as she announced her separation from NBA player husband Marko Jaric with whom she has two little girls with. 

Lima is also currently starring in what has been described as "the World Cup's sexiest advert" with car manufacturer Kia. Adriana is probably best know for her work with Victoria's Secret where she has opened their annual show several times and has even modelled their "Fantasy Bra" valued at over $5 million!

Lima was also a spokeswoman for Maybelline from 2003 to 2009. The size 8 beauty has also turned her hand to acting taking on roles in both film and tv and even made a cameo as herself in How I Met Your Mother with some of the other Angels. Having set many records in her career to date, her appearance in the April 2006 issue of GQ magazine led to it being the best selling issue of 2006 and one of the mahazine's all time best sellers.

Adriana is now 33 but we her exotic beauty and charming personality will ensure her career continues for years to come.

Countdown to kick off! Brazil's best exports: Allesandra Ambrosio

Unless you've been living under a rock (or are a single lady!) you'll probably know that a little thing called the World Cup is "kicking off" this week! The big event is taking place is Brazil best known for its beaches, teeny bikinis and supermodels! To celebrate, Beau Heaux Blog will be doing our very own countdown to kick off bringing you a run down of Brazil's best exports starting today with Victoria's Secret Angel Allesansra Ambrosio. The 5 foot 9 beauty who is a teeny size 6 began modelling in her teens but her big break came when she landed the Millenium GUESS? campaign.

The 33 yearold mom of two little ones is best known for strutting her stuff alongside Candice, Melissa, Cara and co!

 Allesandra or Alè to friends, also became the first spokeswoman for the VS Pink! brand in 2004. This woman is not only a supermodel but clearly superhuman as she walked in the show while 3 months pregnant and still rocked a body envied my millions!

Allesandra has also dabbled in high fashion work and has walked for Chanel and Prada to name but a few. In 2009 she even starred in good aul Next's first tv campaign in 12 years! Her bronzed skin and sultry beauty have people in awe the world over and she continually ranks as one of Forbe's highest paid models.

Gucci Cosmetics preview

Design house Gucci is to join the likes of Dior, Chanel and Giorgio Armani by finally making the leap into cosmetics retail. After a lot of speculation the brand announced the great news earlier in the year and the collection is due to launch in September 2014. Creative director at Gucci Frida Giannini said while the project officially began four years ago the idea was born a long time ago and each product has been tried and tested by the woman herself. Inspiration for the line was sought from the archives of Gucci and from fashion icons including Jerry Hall and Jane Birkin. 

In May it was announced that granddaughter of Hollywood legend Grace Kelly, Charlotte Casiraghi is to become the face of the new line. Charlotte seemed to be a natural choice for Gucci as she has already appeared in their "Forever Now" campaign. 

Charlotte is in good company as Blake Lively and James Franco both front fragrances for the brand. The collection is said to include eye makeup, lip products, nail polish, foundations and much more. We cannot wait until September and judging by these preview pictures this collection will do phenomenally well. 

Random Beauty Buy! Lush lip scrub

If there's one thing that makes me feel really yuck it's dry lips! Cracked lips are both sore and unsightly but unfortunately working under air conditioning for 10 hours a day wreaks havoc with my skin's hydration. Since coming back from a holiday in sunny Spain I found my lips to be even more prone to dryness. A nice lip balm or even good aul Vaseline will work eventually but it's best to get rid of the dead skin first so that your product can get right in and get to work. Usually I would use something rough like a dry face cloth or even my usual facial scrub to help but both of these methods can be quite severe on the delicate skin on your lips.

I was thrilled when I came across this pretty little pot in Lush recently. €6.95 for this little tub but it will last you as you barely dip your finger tip in. You simply rub a little over your lips and remove (licking it off has no harmful side effects!) It tastes absolutely delish! My lips are left feeling soft and supple after each use. It is also ideal for removing traces of highly pigmented and stubborn lipstick. 

This product is also 100% natural and suitable for vegans plus it was only produced days before I purchased which makes it all the more appealing. If you visit your local Lush store this is definitely worth a purchase!

Product Review: MAC Cremesheen Coral Bliss

One of my most recent makeup purchases was a lovely lippie by MAC Cosmetics which I picked up in Brown Thomas Limerick just before my holiday. I specifically bought it as a summer lipstick with the intention of wearing it on holidays but since them I've worn it nearly every day! The Cremesheen lipsticks are a favourite of mine as they are quite moisturising and naturally leave a light sheen on the lips so there is no need for gloss. They are also extremely wearable as the colour is not as heavily pigmented as other lipsticks. When worn alone Coral Bliss is a light pinky coral, perfect to brighten up your look. 

This lipstick can also be altered by adding a liner. Choose a pink liner for that pinky coral look. As I have dark hair I can also pull off a more orangey coral so I decided to pick up a liner called Lasting Sensation. 

I lined my lips and also filled them in with liner before applying the lipstick so that even when the creamy lipstick faded I was left with a nice stain on my lips. 

Coral Bliss has now become a staple in my makeup bag and if you are looking for a summery coral perfect for every day wear then this is the shade for you!
